at the cross-roads in life?
My name is Lola and i am the curator and lead coach for Into the Mystic. I created this intimate hybrid, between holiday and retreat, because I realised I didn’t know where to go when I truly needed to rest and reset.
10 years ago i found myself at a cross-roads in my life, a few years into healing from a break-up and abortion. On the surface, I was good. I had got over the worst of it. But underneath, there was deep grief, loss of direction and childhood/ancestral patterns that I still hadn’t touched and were keeping me stuck. I had been to many group retreats, 1-1 sessions and medicine ceremonies, I was already a healer myself, and yet, the deep shift i needed came for me, surprisingly, one low-key winter during a 1-1 retreat in a cosy cottage in Somerset with the wonderful Fiona Arrigo and her team.
The ethos goes like this:
You are the centre everything and everyone comes to you. There is stillness, time and space to rest, process and surrender into being supported. I was taken care of by a web of wonderful therapists, all weaving together to guide me to the root of it all, and it truly changed my life. (i wrote about it for Conde Nast here)
It showed me this:
That as humans, we don’t need expensive hotels, group workshops, or cryo-machines when it comes to our most tender parts; our inner child, our shadows, our hearts. We need to tend to them, and be tended to, all while our nervous system isn’t strung out.
The experience was so profound that it inspired me to create 1-1 retreats in the magical lands of Tulum I now call home, a place that is effortlessly evolutionary, a land of water where you almost can’t help experience soul-shifting transformations.
It’s now been 5 years I have been guiding and curating these journeys, and I am excited to finally open them up beyond word-of-mouth referrals, to invite you to come and work with me and give yourself the trip of a lifetime - a gift of expansion, healing, evolution and curated care.
